In cases where the tonsils are infected but not very large and constitute an obstacle to cause stop breathing (sleep apnea), it should not be done a complete removal but only a partial removal of tonsils, performed with radiofrequency. This removal method eliminates almost completely the hemorrhage and the pain interference.
